Expressing concern over the rapidly changing circumstances in the Gulf region, the Government of Jharkhand has activated dedicated helpline numbers to assist residents of the state who may be feeling insecure or stranded abroad.
In an appeal to the people of Jharkhand and the country, Chief Minister Hemant Soren urged everyone to remain alert and assured that the nation stands firmly with its citizens during this critical time.
He also requested the intervention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Foreign Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to take necessary steps to ensure the safe return of Indians who are feeling trapped or unsafe in the Gulf region.
The Chief Minister specifically appealed to people from Jharkhand residing in Gulf countries to immediately get in touch with the Jharkhand State Migrant Control Room in case of any difficulty.

Officials said the control room will collect details of affected individuals and coordinate with the concerned authorities to extend all possible support.
The state government reiterated its commitment to providing every possible assistance to its residents and assured that it stands in solidarity with them during the ongoing crisis.
Notably, thousands of migrant workers from Jharkhand are presently residing in UAE and its neighbouring countries. And, a large number of people are seeking assistance due to war-like situations in the region.
