The Special Task Force (STF) arrested three individuals involved in the illegal trade of tiger organs and ganja trafficking in Dindori district, Madhya Pradesh, officials reported on Sunday.
According to SP Rajesh Bhadoria, one of the arrested suspects, Ajit Pardi, was detained in the forest area of Chandrapur, Maharashtra, where tiger organs were found in his possession.
During interrogation, Pardi revealed that his community was engaged in both tiger poaching and the illegal sale of ganja in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Based on his information, the STF, along with local police forces from Dindori and the state tiger-striking unit, conducted joint operations in the districts of Katni, Mandla, and Dindori.

These coordinated efforts led to the arrest of three individuals in Shahpura, Dindori. During the operation, authorities seized 500 kilograms of ganja, 12 country-made bombs, 12 knives, and various other items linked to their criminal activities.
Panni Chor Gang in Sironj
Meanwhile, in Sironj city, a gang known as ‘Panni Chor’—recognised for wearing red attire—was seen roaming around markets and public spaces. Although they caused concern, they were not harmful.
The group focused on confiscating polythene bags that were less than 70 microns in thickness. Anyone caught using these bags would have their sacks taken by the gang. Despite their actions, the group was not considered dangerous.
