The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday attached a plot of land belonging to a terror accused in central Kashmir’s Budgam district, officials said.
Officials said the property attached at the SK Bagh area of Budgam belongs to Tafazul Hussain Parimoo, a resident of Sheikh-ul-Alam Colony in Nowgam, Srinagar. Parimoo is currently lodged in NIA custody in a case registered under various Sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, Arms Act, and Explosive Substances Act, officials added.
He has been identified by the NIA as one of the key accused in an arms-smuggling and terror-funding case involving the Hizbul Mujahideen militant group and was allegedly linked to former Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Superintendent of Police Davinder Singh. He was arrested by the NIA on October 12, 2020.
The NIA has been actively targeting his assets. In November 2025 and again in April 2026, the NIA attached a plot of land measuring 11.5 marlas at SK Bagh, Budgam, belonging to him.
The accused was arrested as part of the expanded probe into the case in which DSP Davinder Singh was caught on January 11, 2020, transporting Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists.
