Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Monday. Birla is in Patna to attend the All India Presiding Officers' Conference.
Nitish Kumar, the leader of JD(U), drove to Raj Bhavan, which is very close to his home. Birla and other important guests were there, invited by Governor Arif Mohammad Khan.
Later, Birla shared a picture with Nitish Kumar on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "Before attending the 85th All India Presiding Officers' Conference in Bihar, I met Bihar's Chief Minister, Shri Nitish Kumar ji. I was touched by his warm hospitality."
Birla also praised the guard of honor given by the "Mahila Battalion" of Bihar Police. In another post, he shared pictures of the honour and wrote, "Salutations to the Nari Shakti (women power) of Bihar! This is the third time, after 43 years, that Patna is hosting the AIPOC. I hope this conference will help strengthen our parliamentary traditions."
