The girl from Sitapur who created waves in the past when she was harassed on social media platforms because of the hair on her face, Prachi Nigam, has yet again demonstrated her talent by scoring an outstanding 91.2 per cent in her Class 12 Board examinations. The UP topper, who has had to endure relentless criticism of her appearance through social media channels, is unbothered and has delivered an outstanding academic record, which speaks volumes about her potential.
It must be noted that Prachi has scored exceptionally well in the fields of science and mathematics, proving that she is ambitious and wants to pursue her career in engineering. In Mathematics, she scored 99 out of 100 marks; this was only one mark below perfection! In addition to this, she also performed excellently in her other subjects, like Hindi, Chemistry, and Physics, scoring 96, 95, and 93 marks respectively.
This is not the first time Prachi has stood at the top of the podium; she previously led the state in her Class 10 exams with a near-perfect 591 out of 600. It was then, during that victorious moment, that the picture of the girl took off, becoming the reason for the spontaneous formation of comments. While looking back to that time, Prachi admitted that though the attack of the trolls was considerable, she decided to take into account only the support coming from her fans.
Staying calm in her actions, Prachi explained that she feels completely fine with herself. In her words to journalists, she assured that nothing bothers her about other people’s attitude and compared herself to the great philosopher Chanakya, whose critics did not bother him at all. With her future goal of taking part in the entrance exams for IIT being firmly established, her story has become an example of how confidence and success can easily surpass anything that internet users could say.
