At least one person was killed and several others injured after a bus bearing registration number JK02CU-7482 overturned on the Gool-Sangaldan road near the Sangaldan area of Ramban district on Tuesday, officials said.
As per initial reports, the driver of the passenger bus lost control of the vehicle, which then turned turtle near Sangaldan. In the incident, one passenger was reportedly killed on the spot, while nearly a dozen passengers suffered injuries.
Soon after the incident, police and rescue teams, along with local volunteers, launched quick rescue operations. The injured were then shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
