Bharat Rashtra Samithi working president KT Rama Rao claimed that only party chief and ex-Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had treated Backward Classes (BCs) with justice before and would continue to give them importance in political representation even after. He appealed to voters to vote for BRS candidates in forthcoming local body polls, saying that only a robust mandate would teach the Congress government its place and make a course correction.
KCR stood alone with BCs yesterday, and BRS will make them get their rightful share tomorrow. This Congress government can be made to fall in line only when BRS wins a bumper poll in local body polls," he asserted, after presenting sewing machines and KCR Kits to Parakala women on Sunday as part of the "Gift a Smile" campaign.
Targeting sharply the Congress government, the working president of BRS asserted that the Congress was engaging in mass-level corruption and intimidation at Kakatiya Mega Textile Park in Warangal. He accused a few Congress Ministers and MLAs of threatening big investors such as KITEX, which has pledged 25,000 jobs, to give employment only to candidates recommended by them.

"Congress hooliganism is pushing industries away from Telangana," he cautioned, adding that project estimates for a canal inside the textile park had ballooned from ₹137 crore to ₹297 crore due to the Congress leaders' greed for commissions.
He assured that BRS would raise these irregularities in the upcoming Assembly session, stating that the Congress's mismanagement could derail Warangal's industrial growth and deprive thousands of local youth of employment.
Rama Rao also attacked Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for unpaid welfare schemes. He stated the Congress government has a debt of ₹50,000 to each woman it had assured ₹2,500 a month. He stated while Revanth Reddy vows to turn one crore women into crorepatis, his government had disbursed just ₹300 crore out of the ₹3,000 crore assured to self-help groups.
Additionally, he alleged the Revanth Reddy government was harassing 3,000 Grihalakshmi beneficiaries in Parakala constituency without releasing sanctioned funds at the behest of courts. He promised to take up fight for their cause within and outside the Assembly.
He also condemned the Congress for not arranging supply of urea, fertilisers and seeds in time. "A Chief Minister who cannot supply fundamental inputs to farmers has no business to remain in office," he asserted, promising to continue his struggle for Telangana's pride and development.
