Prashant Kishor, who has been on a hunger strike for the past 14 days protesting against the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), will end his fast on Thursday.
His organisation, Jan Suraj, made this announcement. Prashant Kishor will break his fast at the Jan Suraj camp near Ganga Path and will also share the next steps in his movement.
Jan Suraj’s announcement
Jan Suraj stated that Prashant Kishor will end his hunger strike on Thursday, to honour the youth and the Jan Suraj family. The strike was against the poor education system and the corrupt exam system in Bihar.
After ending his fast, Prashant Kishor will announce the next phase of the movement. They invited everyone to join and support this important moment.
Governor Arif Mohammad Khan steps in
Earlier, Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan stepped in to encourage Prashant Kishor to end his hunger strike. The governor suggested that Kishor send a student representative to discuss a solution and promised to help resolve the issue. This was confirmed by the Jan Suraj team.

BPSC sends legal notices to Prashant Kishor
The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) sent legal notices to Prashant Kishor and several others regarding allegations made against the commission during the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) held in the state on December 13.
BPSC exam controller Rajesh Kumar Singh stated that notices were sent to politicians, coaching centre staff, and others who made false allegations against the BPSC. More notices will be issued soon.
