Ranchi readies to welcome President Murmu on Feb 14

The President's convoy will go directly from the airport to the Raj Bhavan, where 3 layers will be arranged for her security. More than 1000 policemen will be deployed for this, including 10 IPS officers.

Elaborate arrangements are being made for President of India Droupadi Murmu’s Ranchi visit on 14 February. The President will attend the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of premier technical institute, BIT Mesra on 15 February.

 

The President's convoy will go directly from the airport to the Raj Bhavan, where 3 layers will be arranged for her security. More than 1000 policemen will be deployed for this, including 10 IPS officers.

 

During the President's visit, changes will be made in the traffic system on February 14 and 15. Traffic will be stopped an hour before her arrival. Barricading and drop gates will be made at various places to prevent traffic. DSPs, inspectors and policemen will be deployed on major roads for traffic control.

 

Apart from State Police, paramilitary forces, army personnel and inspectors of Special Branch will also be deployed for the security of the President. Security personnel will keep watch from high buildings and Special Branch policemen deployed in plain clothes will also keep watch in different areas.

Apart from this, army personnel will also be deployed at their level for security.

 

Meanwhile, Raj Bhawan is readying to welcome the President, who had once stayed as the Governor Jharkhand here. Murmu likes to eat rural leafy vegetables.

 

Workers of the kitchen garden of Raj Bhawan said that the President eats rural vegetables grown in the kitchen garden. When Droupadi Murmu was the Governor of Jharkhand, she used to visit the garden herself every day and used to get information about the maintenance of vegetables.

 

Arrangements for the President's night stay are being made at the Raj Bhavan. Preparations for this are in full swing. At present, almost every type of seasonal vegetables like cauliflower, cabbage, peas, carrots, brinjal, radish, broccoli, turnip and beetroot are being prepared in the kitchen garden of the Raj Bhavan.
