Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has announced that the state government would soon set up a “world-class” startup incubator in Gurugram. It will be developed in partnership with leading startups, corporates, and educational institutions.
The incubator, named H-Hub, will have modern facilities such as plug-and-play workspaces, meeting rooms, high-performance computing, and innovation labs for research in new fields. Saini said this step aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Make in India and Design in India vision.

He added that the 2025-26 state budget had provisioned for 10 new Industrial Model Townships (IMTs) across Haryana. Around 20,000 acres of land have already been voluntarily offered by landowners through the e-Bhoomi portal for these projects.
The chief minister urged industries to also direct their CSR funds towards the social sector, especially healthcare services.
Highlighting Haryana’s startup growth, Saini said the state currently ranks seventh in India, with over 9,100 recognised startups, including 19 unicorns. He noted that half of these startups are led by women.
He further said AI hubs were coming up in Gurugram and Panchkula to promote advanced research. The government, along with NITI Aayog, is also setting up a state chapter of the Women Entrepreneurship Platform. This will give women entrepreneurs access to over 200 mentors, specialised training, funding opportunities, market access, and incubation support.
