A tragic bus accident in Punjab’s Fatehgarh Sahib has claimed the lives of six devotees and left a further 21 injured, police confirmed on Wednesday. The group, all residents of Main Majri village, were on their way home after visiting Anandpur Sahib to pay their respects on the occasion of Baisakhi.
The incident took place at approximately 10 pm on Tuesday near Himmatpura, situated on the Morinda-Chunni road within the Bassi Pathana area.
