Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin was hospitalised on Monday following light dizziness while he was taking his regular morning walk. Stalin was taken to Apollo Hospitals, Greams Road off arterial Anna Salai on Monday morning. "His symptoms are under assessment, and all required diagnostic workups are being conducted," said Dr Anil B G, Director, Medical Services, Apollo Hospitals, in a medical bulletin.
After taking his morning stroll, Stalin went to Anna Arivalayam, the secretariat of DMK, to induct AIADMK leader Anwhar Raajhaa into the party.
"After that, he went straight to Apollo Hospitals," said a source, adding that he was fine.
Water Resources Minister Durai Murugan, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam general secretary, and Health Minister Ma Subramanian, who came to visit the hospital to meet Stalin, said that the Chief Minister was fine and would be returning home soon.

"He is fine. Some routine tests are being done and nothing to worry," Subramanian said. Tamil megastar Rajinikanth and actor Kamal Haasan have reportedly called Stalin on the phone to ask about his health.
In the meantime, the government postponed all the events at which the Chief Minister was scheduled to appear in Tiruppur over the next couple of days due to his ill-health. Although Stalin didn't attend, the second half of a book authored by his wife Durga detailing their life was launched on Monday night with the author and her family present.
