The District Police Anantnag reiterated their commitment to eliminating the drug menace from society and urged the general public to continue extending support to anti-narcotics efforts by sharing information regarding drug peddling and substance abuse.
Since the launch of the Nasha Mukt Abhiyan in April by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Jammu and Kashmir Police have cracked down on narcotics trade, terror support networks and logistical operations.
The force has arrested many individuals, leading to the recovery of narcotics and the seizure and demolition of properties earned through the narco trade.
