The question papers for the mathematics and biology exams of the Uttar Pradesh class 12 board examination were allegedly shared on a WhatsApp group shortly after the commencement of the examinations on Thursday. This incident prompted authorities to file a police report.
Following a complaint by District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) Dinesh Kumar in Agra, an FIR has been lodged in Fatehpur Sikri.
The FIR mentioned the principal of Atar Singh Inter College in Rajhauli, Kiraoli, Fatehpur Sikri, along with his son who serves as a computer operator at the institution, and others as the accused.
According to the FIR, the principal's son allegedly shared the question papers on the WhatsApp group "All Principals Agra."
Dr. Mukesh Agrawal, Joint Director of the Secondary Education Department and Observer for the exams, stated to reporters, "We have constituted a committee following the incident and instructed the relevant officials to take appropriate measures.
Legal action will be pursued against those responsible for this misconduct."
Officials noted that the question papers were circulated approximately an hour after the commencement of the exam during the second shift.
