Fake currency racket busted in Hamirpur, two arrested

The arrests were made following a complaint by a 74-year-old shopkeeper from Loharda Bypass Road, who was cheated on April 9, 2026. The accused allegedly used a “currency exchange” trick by giving fake Rs 200 notes in return for genuine Rs 500 notes.
