Report finds ghost malls haunt major cities in India

In 2023, a staggering 64 shopping malls, encompassing a combined gross leasable area of approximately 13.3 million square feet, were categorized as ghost malls. This represents a substantial rise of 58% compared to the 8.4 million square feet recorded in the previous year.
