HC upholds ₹29 lakh compensation for Army jawan’s family

Naik Ganesh Singh of the 5th Guards Regiment was going in a corporation bus from Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh to Tanakpur in Uttarakhand on July 7, 2011, when the driver lost control and the bus crashed into a truck parked on the roadside. Singh suffered serious injuries and later died during treatment.
