Punjab cop Gurinderjit Nagra arrested over US extortion racket

According to the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Gurinderjit was allegedly involved in an extortion racket that targeted Indian-origin families, primarily from Punjab, living in the US. He was named as one of the accused in the chargesheet filed by the FBI on February 7 earlier this year.
