676 Assam govt schools without electricity; 283 boys’ lack toilet

Around 1.53% of government schools in Assam are yet to receive electricity, while 283 schools still lack boys' toilets. The state government has allocated funds to address these gaps and aims to equip every government school with essential infrastructure, including digital learning facilities, by March 2027.
