Electoral dynamics in UP shift: Janvadi Party ends alliance with Samajwadi Party following Apna Dal-K Split

Following the split between the Samajwadi Party and the Kurmi OBC-based Apna Dal (Kamerawadi), the Janvadi Party can now field candidates for 11 seats in Uttar Pradesh independently. Despite aligning with the Samajwadi Party in 2022, the Janvadi Party failed to secure any seats and currently lacks significant representation in the state, with no sitting MLAs.
