Shah inaugurates revamped police academy in Assam's Golaghat

Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the first phase of the revamped Lachit Barphukan Police Academy in Assam’s Golaghat district on Saturday. Spread over 340 acres, the academy is undergoing a ₹1,024-crore modernisation in two phases, equipping trainees with smart classrooms, weapons simulators, and advanced research facilities.
