Punjab Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sibin C has announced a new initiative to boost voter turnout in the state. On Monday, he revealed that Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will receive an incentive of Rs 5,000 if they achieve a voter turnout increase of 10 percent or more compared to the 2019 elections. Additionally, BLOs at booths with voter turnout exceeding 75 percent will receive similar incentives.
