Rain brings sharp dip in temperatures in Punjab, Haryana

Day temperatures across Haryana and Punjab stayed well below normal on Wednesday after heavy rainfall swept the region a day earlier. Chandigarh, the joint capital of both states, recorded a maximum temperature of 24.2 degrees Celsius, which was nine degrees below normal, as per the Meteorological Department.
