Mizoram accelerates rubber cultivation drive

Mizoram has about 50,000 hectares of land suitable for rubber cultivation and plans to cover 11,500 hectares in five years under the Chief Minister’s Rubber Mission, Chief Minister Lalduhoma said, as the state intensifies efforts to emerge as a major rubber-producing hub.
