U’khand police calls suspended constable’s claims ‘baseless’

IG Kumaon Range Nivedita Kukreti said the constable had been unauthorisedly absent from duty in Pithoragarh district since June 28. According to the police, the SP Pithoragarh had issued him a notice, and after no response was received, he was suspended on July 20.
