Labour Ministry proposes unified portal for unorganised sector workers

The eShram portal, touted as the largest national database of unorganised sector workers, currently houses information on 295 million individuals, encompassing categories such as migrant labourers, domestic workers, self-employed individuals, and small shopkeepers.
