Uttarakhand ULB polls: Women shine with 44% candidature

With elections nearing, women’s participation and leadership are set to play a decisive role in the outcome of the Uttarakhand local body polls. The BJP has nominated women candidates in 44 out of 100 wards, while Congress has fielded 45 women contenders.
