Union Minister of State for electronics and IT, Rajeev Chandrashekhar visited the boAt factory in Delhi-NCR

Union minister of state for skill development and entrepreneurship, electronics and IT, Jal shakti, Rajeev Chandra on Tuesday visited the BoAt manufacturing unit in Noida to mark National Startup Day.

boAt is an Indian consumer electronics startup, the minister was accompanied by representatives of Young Indians, a not-for profit organisation, that works to instill in young minds the power to leadership, enhance the youth entrepreurship ecosystem and create youth led- changes to build the nation.

The minister addressed their queries, concerns and spoke about their future career trajectories, he highlighted that there are unprecedented opportunities available to young Indian in New Delhi, during this interaction, the minister drew from his experiences as an entrepreneur and as a chip designer some key lessons for the Young Indians.

"On this National Startup Day, boAt joins the chorus of gratitute, saluting the government of India's integral role in shaping the vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem. We see ourselves as more than just an electronics brand, we are building the vibrant soundtrack of a resurgent India, one bold and disruptive note at a time, every boAt product is a testament to the power of Indian ingenuity, meitulously crafted with the world stage in mind", said Aman Gupta, co-founder of boAt, reflecting on the impact of Prime Minister Modi's vision and the strength of India's youth in the global startup landscape.

In a gesture, Rajeev Chandrashekhar gifted a book authored by Steve Jobs to each of the young entrepreneurs, who found inspiration in the minister's life and contributions.

The boAt leadership expressed gratitude for the pivotal support provided by the Narendra Modi Government, acknowledging it's role in scaling their endeavors and shaping India's entrepreneurial ecosystem.

During the visit, the group toured the facility, met with employees ad explored the assembly unit of the renowned electronics brand. The three young Indians had a unique opportunity to participate in a Q&A session with boAt's leadership, gaining insights into the company's journey and the intricacies of a Make In India electronics manufacturing unit.
