The ongoing Mahakumbh at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj continues to draw a monumental number of devotees from India and abroad.

With over 410 million pilgrims having taken a holy dip so far, the religious congregation is being hailed as one of the largest spiritual events in the world.

The confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers is considered highly sacred, with pilgrims flocking to experience its spiritual significance.

Devotees are arriving in droves at the Mahakumbh Mela Kshetra to partake in the ancient tradition.

On Saturday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, accompanied by Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, joined the gathering and took a holy dip together at Triveni Sangam.

The two leaders were seen greeting each other after their ritual dip.

Following the event, CM Yadav said, "Sangam has the blessings of Maa Ganga and Maa Yamuna and Prayagraj is the supreme place of all pilgrimages. So the pleasure of having a holy dip here is achieved after the virtues of many births. I prayed here for the wellness of Madhya Pradesh's people, especially for youth and fortune for every section of society."

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Yadav shared his divine experience, writing: "Today, I took a dip with my wife at the sacred Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj Mahakumbh and worshipped the flowing rivers. It filled me with the feeling of divinity. I wish that the flow of Maa Ganga, Maa Yamuna and Maa Saraswati remains uninterrupted for eternity, and everyone be blessed."

The Mahakumbh, which began on Paush Purnima on 13 January, is regarded as the world's largest spiritual and cultural gathering.

The event will continue until Mahashivratri on 26 February, with organisers expecting even more devotees to join the festivities.

Having already witnessed millions of pilgrims from across India and the globe, Mahakumbh 2025 is poised to break attendance records and further solidify its standing as a spiritual and cultural milestone.
