At least 30 senior politicians, including Adarsh Pal Singh and Ajay Gautam, joined Haryana Congress, today, along with hundreds of office bearers, ahead of the state assembly polls. 

 

Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda, along with Haryana Congress President Chaudhary Udaibhan and MP Deepender Singh Hooda, extended a warm welcome to a host of leaders joining the Congress today. 

 

Adarsh Pal Singh, State Organization Secretary of the Aam Aadmi Party and brother of former Haryana DGP KP Singh, along with Ajay Gautam, who contested as the JJP candidate from Panchkula in the 2019 elections, joined the Congress. They were accompanied by numerous office bearers from BJP, JJP, and INLD, as well as former Sarpanches, councilors, and various leaders.

 

Addressing the gathering, Hooda emphasised on the significance of the leaders' decision to join at this crucial juncture, asserting that their inclusion will fortify the Congress and amplify efforts towards securing a change of power in the state. He expressed confidence that the party's victory in the upcoming assembly elections is inevitable, following the promising outcome in the recent Lok Sabha polls.

 

PCC President Chaudhary Udaibhan echoed Hooda's sentiments, describing the Lok Sabha results as a mere preview of the Congress's upcoming dominance in the state. He predicted a resounding victory for the party, paving the way for government formation with a substantial majority.

 

MP Deepender Singh Hooda added to the chorus of welcomes, extending his felicitations to all leaders joining the Congress fold today.

 

Among those joining the Congress alongside Singh and Gautam were notable figures such as Mahendra Sharma from JJP, Pappu Ram Odd representing INLD & JJP Halka Pramukh SC Cell, Madan Lal Chauhan from Hisar JJP, Sunil former Sarpanch Bichpadi from BJP, Jogendra Jangra of BJP, Vinod Dhawan from JJP, Gulab Singh, Vice President of AAP Lok Sabha, Lakhwinder Singh Lakha, District Vice President of AAP, Roshan Lal Pasi from All India Pasi Samaj Haryana, Satpal Pasi of Pasi Ekta Samiti Karnal, Prakash Veer from Kori Samaj Karnal, and Billu from Bhatt Samaj Karnal, among others.

 

The influx of these leaders into the Congress is viewed as a strategic move to consolidate support and bolster the party's prospects in the upcoming state elections.
