Bihar police raids Ranchi courier in NEET case

The Economic Offences Unit (EOU) of Bihar Police conducted a raid today at a courier service office in the Sadar police station area of Ranchi. According to reports, NEET question papers were distributed to various cities through this courier service.

Reliable sources within Ranchi Police disclosed that the EOU targeted a courier service centre at Kokar Chowk in the Sadar police station area for investigation.

Following the discovery of a Jharkhand link in the NEET paper leak case, the investigation has intensified across multiple cities in Jharkhand.

Sources revealed that several documents, including CCTV footage, were examined during the raid. The EOU had received intelligence that leaked NEET question papers were dispatched to several cities from a courier service in Sadar, Ranchi.

The EOU has interrogated over a dozen employees from the courier service and scrutinised numerous documents. The team also reviewed CCTV footage to identify the individual responsible for sending the NEET question papers from Ranchi to other locations via courier.

Additionally, the EOU of Bihar Police has arrested six individuals in connection with the case in Deoghar, Jharkhand. The accused were residing near AIIMS in Deoghar, posing as labourers.
