Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said on Monday that his government is committed to ensuring that welfare schemes reach every person in society.
Speaking at the 'Mukhya Sevak Dialogue' with local residents in Yamkeshwar, he highlighted how both the central and state governments have launched several welfare programmes. These policies have increased investment in the state, created jobs, and helped businesses grow, leading to overall development.
He emphasised that his government is working hard to make sure these schemes reach the people who need them the most. He also urged government employees and officials to implement these programmes sincerely.
Since taking office, he has focused on addressing public concerns and making sure government schemes benefit the people. To improve governance, the state has introduced the CM Dashboard and the CM Helpline. Additionally, a Rapid Solution Team is being tested in Pauri district to handle public grievances more efficiently.

Earlier in the day, CM Dhami reviewed preparations for the Char Dham Yatra, an important religious pilgrimage that also plays a key role in Uttarakhand’s economy. He explained that the Yatra supports many businesses, including hotels, taxis, tourist guides, and homestays. It also helps local women sell their handmade products to visitors from around the world.
To ensure a smooth and safe Yatra, the government held discussions with stakeholders, reviewed past experiences, and sought suggestions for improvement. CM Dhami also mentioned that the state has started the Winter Yatra this year and is working on a master plan for its better management.
