The Punjab Police have intensified their efforts to eradicate drug networks, disrupt supply chains, and ensure a drug-free state, officials said. In a recent operation, the authorities seized 12.07 kg of heroin and ₹25.12 lakh in cash connected to drug trafficking and hawala dealings. An FIR under the NDPS Act has been registered at Ghall Khurd police station, with investigations ongoing to expose further links.
