Delhi bans entry of 'polluting vehicles' from Nov 1

Delhi will ban the entry of commercial goods vehicles that are not BS6 compliant, or are not running on clean fuels like CNG, LNG, or electricity. This ban applies to vehicles registered outside Delhi, while a transitional measure allows BS-IV light, medium, and heavy goods vehicles registered in Delhi to enter until October 31, 2026. The aim is to reduce pollution from older, more polluting commercial vehicles.
